As a student of Henderson Academy of Music, your child will learn the fundamentals of music- proper technique, music theory, how to read music, scales, chords, etc. Once your child is ready, he or she will get to play his or her favorite songs...we're big on teaching our students current pop songs to keep them motivated.

Of course, we also teach classical and jazz to those interested. Other advance techniques include: improvisation, composition, and ear-training.

For beginners, though, we always make sure lessons are fun! Our teachers are great with kids and always motivating and encouraging. And lessons take place in your home in Kirkland...so you don't have to drive anywhere :)
