Grace Rodgers

Grace Rodgers, originally from Detroit, is a Los Angeles based violinist who enjoys a varied musical career spanning from classical to pop. Grace often works with current artists, and has been a part of many studio recordings and live productions (Kesha, Lea Michele, BØRNS, Megadeth, Gallant, Sabrina Carpenter, and others). Grace earned her Bachelor of Music with a concentration in Violin Performance from Wayne State University under Dr. Laura Roelofs, where she was also an instructor for String Project @Wayne, a four year teaching internship with the youth of Detroit.

As an avid performer, Ms. Rodgers knows the necessary skills to make a great violinist. While she caters to the individual student's needs, Grace instills the basics in an engaging and useful manner. Ms. Rodgers specializes in observing students’ learning styles, and then utilizing the necessary tools to take them to the next level in their performing skills.

Laurel has been playing violin since she was in 1st grade! She is well-versed in the classical and fiddle styles and absolutely loves teaching! 

She studied at Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University and has experience teaching violin and theory to students ages 6 to 65!

Laurel loves playing violin for bands of all genres and in orchestras around town!
