Raf Vertessen received his Masters of Music and Composition from The Conservatory of Amsterdam. He teaches drum, percussion, clarinet, piano, harmony, theory and composition. His background includes classical, jazz, rock, punk, electronic music, avant-garde and improvised music.
As a teacher he has 9 years of experience in music schools in Belgium, The Netherlands and New York city and 9 years of experience teaching to all levels - classically trained - touring and performing musician (America, Europe, Africa, Asia).
