Sam Niehaus

Sam Niehaus is an advanced drummer well versed in many styles. His skill has landed him gigs and recording sessions across the country with many different bands. Sam has drumming talent that allows him to play blues, funk, soul, Rn'B, jazz, reggae, hip-hop, bluegrass and rock. He is very passionate about drums, from the intricacies of playing techniques to the details of how drums are made, Sam might surprise you on how much he knows on the subject is sure not to let you down when teaching lessons!

Having played for 18 years has very much helped in gaining plenty of knowledge about music. Starting to play drums at the age of 13 in St. Louis, Sam took lessons and quickly began to advance his skill. In college he began to play in a touring band that helped him gain notoriety in the music scene. Once back in St. Louis he was picked up by a bluegrass band and continued to tour the country, record and give lessons. This resume builder landed him a spot in a Denver based reggae band where he currently resides. 

In addition to playing drums, Sam works in a high-school for autism and has been in this field for over 5 years. Working with people of all ages and talent levels is something that he excels in.
